Our Grandpas' History

We want to tell you a little of our ancestors…Our very dear grandparents!!

Spain immigrants several years back they decided to settle down specifically in Costa Rica in the province of Cartago. From its arrival to our country they dedicated its lives to seedtime of different cultures and the milk production.

Our grandparents tried very hard to continue with the workings, customs and traditions that they inherited and is therefore that still today they continue themselves harvesting in earth with different traditional agricultural products from the zone, an inheritance by the agriculture that has come from generation in generation in our family.

The house of Granpas' Bed and Breakfast was built in 1978 with centennial wood of the old large houses in which our grandparents lived; the very old ones of the sidewalks come from their patios and are pieces that hardly are in our country reason why for us they are like relics.

The care of the garden received a careful attention from our grandparents. The rosebush is legendary. They specially created a breeding ground for its orchid. Nowadays a very special treatment is given to the gardens to try to maintain them as our grandparents use to have it.

We learned from our grandparents among other things the art to work the Earth or to take care of the gardens, of equal way we inherited the benefit to share, to welcome and affection warmly in our visitors, that's why we distinguishes the customized and friendly treatment to us towards our clients, with the purpose of making feel you equal or better than in your own house.
